Right near the end, I got to this point where I thought, “What if I wanted this animation to do one thing one time, and a different thing the other time? Do I have to make all of these frames and do it all by hand?” They said, “No, there’s this thing called ActionScript, and you can write code to make things on the screen move around.” That was a life-changing moment for me.Įmmet: I had a similar experience. I was taking an animation workshop in university, and the instructor showed us Flash, and we learned how to do Flash animation for six weeks. Val Head: I discovered animation in a strange place.
